Permissions used
Every permission below is requested only when you use the feature that needs it, and always after a clear explanation. Denying a permission never breaks the launcher — features simply fall back to system apps.
PhotosThe Photos app needs it to show your gallery. Nothing is uploaded.
ContactsThe Contacts app lists your contacts. Data stays on-device.
Call logThe Phone app shows recent calls.
LocationOptional — manual city search in Weather works without it.
NotificationsOptional — lets the Notification Center display notifications on home and lock screens.
System window settingsEnables the flashlight, airplane mode and rotation controls from Control Center. Without it these controls open system settings instead.
BluetoothUsed only to query and toggle Bluetooth from Control Center.
Wi-FiUsed only to query Wi-Fi state from the Control Center.
Screen recordingOnly when you press Record in Control Center. Videos are saved to your Downloads folder.
